Where the Passion Begins
Managing and Clinical Services Director
After qualifying in the UK as an optometrist, Ross Grant obtained post-graduate qualifications in contact lenses and management. He has worked in general, hospital and specialist contact lens practice, and in academia. After joining a major contact lens manufacturer, he continued his career with appointments in research and communications in the USA, and technical services and training covering Europe and Asia. In 2000, he became the marketing manager for the Nordic region, followed by appointments as General Manager in Eastern Europe and Russia. In 2010, he and Claudia Grant set up ToolBox to use their extensive experience in consulting and training for the optical and pharmaceutical professions and industries.
Marketing and Behavioural Services Director
Claudia Grant has degrees in International Trade, Public Relations & Communications, and Psychology. Her work experience spans a wide spectrum: from account manager in a global advertising agency, to international marketing manager for a major contact lens company; from working directly with consumers and distributors, to business to business. Her track record includes quadrupling sales in four years in her region of nine countries and a successful brand turnaround in 15 countries in the Middle East and North Africa. Her Psychology background provides insight into both consumer attitudes & behaviour, and the science of learning. She is a founding partner in ToolBox.
